Colours

We do our best to produce accurate images but there may be some slight variation between how the colour appears on your screen and how it looks on the door. We always recommend ordering our free colour swatches or purchasing a sample door so you can see exactly what your door will look like in your chosen style and colour.

Zurfiz door specification

All Zurfiz doors are manufactured from 18mm thick MDF and MFC with Acrylic, Melamine, PET and PVC finishes

Zurfiz products come with a 6 year manufacturer's warranty as standard

Zurfiz products have an FSC or a PEFC certification, meaning the wood is sourced from sustainable and well managed forests.

A selection of Zurfiz doors have been tested by FIRA and achieved the FIRA gold award. Tests: BS 622-3

Door, drawer and panel sizes

The largest door we manufacture is 2540mm high by 1200mm wide.

The minimum height for panels is 100mm, and the minimum width is 100mm. Maximum width is 1200mm.

Edge type

Zurfiz doors and drawer fronts come with a choice of edge type - matching or glass effect.

The edge type of the panels will match the edge type of the doors, unless specified otherwise.

Drilling for hinges

All doors are undrilled, but we offer a hinge hole drilling service for a small charge.

Measure for hinge holes by measuring from the top or bottom of the door to the centre of the hinge hole. If you need any guidance on measuring for hinges please give us a call.

You can have your hinge holes drilled from 60mm from the bottom and top edge of the door.

Handles

Handles are not supplied as standard, please choose any handle you wish from our range, or fit your own.

Please note, some handles will not fit small drawer fronts. Care should be taken before fitting to ensure your chosen handles will fit the size and style of doors/drawers.

Due to the number of styles and sizes available, we’re unable to drill for handles.

Grain direction

Woodgrain doors are supplied with vertical grain.

Drawer fronts up to 283mm high are supplied with horizontal grain.

The grain direction of panels will match the doors - except panels below the height of 282mm, which will be supplied with horizontal grain unless stated otherwise.

Horizontal grain is available on a request basis.

Door back colour

Zurfiz doors are supplied with a matching melamine back with the following exceptions:

 The backs of panels will match the backs of the doors.

Samples

The texture and sheen on Zurfiz edging samples may look slightly different when compared to the real door.
