Cathedral Kitchen Doors
If you love a traditional, rustic-inspired kitchen, reminiscent of Cotswold cottages or flagstoned farmhouses, cathedral-style kitchen doors are for you.
Cathedral doors get their name from the arched central panel, and we've got two styles of panel for you to choose from. The Westbury cathedral door has a simple arch that surrounds a profiled, lined central panel, and its matching drawer-front is plain, with a neat profiled edge. The Canterbury cathedral door has a slightly more curved, flowing arch, which its central panel is plain. The Canterbury drawer-front has an inset central panel, which catches the eye.
Despite their traditional styling, cathedral doors really can suit any kitchen look. The design is elegant but low-key, so cathedral doors won't dominate the room. If you want to make your unit doors more of a key feature, why not choose a striking colour? Super Matt Dust Grey or Matt Graphite would both look stunning in spacious kitchens, perhaps alongside white or cream tiles. If your kitchen is on the cosy side, lighter shades like Matt Stone Grey or Oakgrain Grey will look chic, while still keeping the room light and fresh.
If you want to really bring out the classic design elements of the cathedral door, a rustic-looking woodgrain finish is a great option. Light-toned woodgrains act as a stylish neutral, which means they'll fit right in with your existing décor, and give you plenty of freedom when it comes to choosing colours and furnishings for the rest of the room. White cathedral doors are ideal for brightening up a kitchen that's on the cosy side - whites and creams reflect plenty of light and make a room look larger.
